I have been using the Saddledonut for about 2000 miles over the past 5 months on both my gravel and road bike. Two mentionable items; first, when installed properly, and the instructions and video make it literally, very easy to do, the cushion is simply not something you are aware of when riding as far as being uncomfortable or being a constant reminder that you are sitting on something different. Second, there is a definite sense that you are firmly planted in the saddle and that the previously unnoticed, sliding around is now gone! It does give the sensation that you are able to put a bit more power into the pedals since your hips and butt are now stabilized on the saddle. Since I am not an ultra distance cyclist and have really never suffered from saddle sores, I can’t comment on that aspect of the product. I will say that now that I’ve used it for a significant time, I would not want to ride without it, knowing the extra stability it gives me when riding.

I installed a cushion aid on my TT bike and have found it a great addition so far. I’ve ridden with it perhaps a half dozen times now and one race. I do find it is providing additional stability on the saddle and helps me hold my aero position keeps my hips square. It also helps me from sliding forward on the saddle. Overall, I’m pleased with it. It adds next to no weight (60 grams) and no negative aerodynamic impact. “Marginal gains” as they say!

Thanks Christian. I just tried the Saddle-Donut Pro on a 100km ride this morning. I guess I didn’t install the Donut (on the left side) properly. It shifted by few mm. I guess not more than 2 mm. Hope that’s OK. But the feel on the ride was incredible. The post-ride pain on the butt has disappeared! Thanks to you! ;-)

An absolute must for anyone that loves to ride long distance. Even those that ride short distances but have issues with chaffing will love this product. Ridden with it for 2000+ miles and did a 250 mile ride with it and had no issues with chaffing and soremess.
